Urban Thinkers Campus
31.05.2017
In some cities, lower income communities located in a ring of social housing around the city centre have high levels of deprivation and unemployment. They do not benefit from their location close to the city centre. Some communities do not feel part of the city and aresegregated from each other, as well as feeling threatened by new occupiers and students living in the city centre.
“Liveable cities welcome diversity & share prosperity”
The objective of this Campus hosted by the International Federation for Housing and Planning (IFHP) is to assist the implementation stage of the New Urban Agenda by focusing on the “Inclusive City”.
